Big Brother 9 USA – To air on E4

Ready for this news fans of Big Brother from the UK? The latest season of Big Brother USA which premiers on February 12th is going to air on UK channel E4 starting Thursday the 14th at 9pm, just 2 days behind America! What great news, E4 aired Big Brother USA 4 many moons ago (the one with the exes, remember it?) but never picked up any more seasons, so it is really surprising news to find that they are going to do this.

Further information for those of you who are new to Big Brother USA but have decided to give it a go on hearing this news. Big Brother USA is in it’s 9th season, and this is the first time the show has aired in the winter. This is essentially an extra season to make up for a lack of shows due to the writers strike in America. Big Brother USA is different from Big Brother UK in many ways, the main difference being the USA version is much more of a competition, than a popularity contest. 90% of the episodes are concentrated on game play, strategy and the houseguests are allowed to talk about nominations as much as they like. There’s lots of backstabbing, scheming and trickery – and because the public don’t get any say in the show that often means that the ‘bad guys’ make it a long way, or even go on to win the show. The show airs 3 times a week in America, rather than nightly and it looks like the E4 schedule is going to be two episodes on a Thursday night and one on a Tuesday night. Don’t leave your best friend at home!

I sadly don’t have any pets myself, I am sure you have seen me mention before how much I would love to have a dog one day – but just thinking about leaving it behind to go on holiday makes me sad, just the thought of it causes me heartache so imagine what I’d be like if I actually had to do it? I’d be a wreck I am sure, ha.

Shows up to date & immediate plans.

While I was away I got quite behind with the posting of certain shows. But I have now been through and made sure that every thing is up to date. The Amazing Race Asia 2, The Amazing Race 12 (USA) and The Janice Dickinson Modelling agency 3 have all had several episodes each added.

I plan to continue with the uploads of Back to Reality this weekend, the slowed down due to me wanting to get Big Brother Celebrity Hijack fast, and a general lack of interest in the show. I also obviously plan to get The Biggest Loser Aus 3 out in a timely manner once it begins on Sunday – last time it was usually within 24 hours, but that’s not something I am going to promise, it’s a loooong show…3+ months so it is pretty easy to get a little behind or want to take a wee break at some point. I will also be uploading Paradise Hotel 2 when it begins, but I suspect it’s going to be a show ‘they’ don’t want on youtube so I might not be able to bring you the whole season, but fingers crossed. Also being posted will be the new season of Survivor, I won’t be uploading this personally though as I know it gets removed – but am hoping to find a good reliable source
