UK online bingo sites

I’ve mentioned before that I enjoy playing bingo online, and I always have my eye out for bonuses available on new sites – one bingo site I signed up to back in September with a free £10 bonus and I still play there today, I have won a nice amount of money from them over the last few months. Online-Bingo.us is a great listing of UK online bingo sites that includes valuable information about available bonuses, as well as the terms of the bonuses – basically they take the leg work for me out of finding the best new sites for me to join. It’s a great resource.

The Biggest Loser USA – Flo’s opinion.

Flo from Flo’s Place Online has written a blog entry about The Biggest Loser USA, here’s a quick excerpt from it.

When Loser first started I was totally against it. I said the whole idea was stupid, people would get hurt, that’s not a safe way to lose weight, how degrading and demoralizing, blah, blah, blah. Well, I’m here to say, 6 seasons later, that this show rocks.

I still have similar reservations about it myself, I don’t think it sends a realistic message to the public…when you see someone get up on the scale and lose 5lbs in one week, and they are disappointed – when by regular person standards that would be an awesome loss. But overall I think the positive message the show sends out outweighs the negative.

I was thrilled to see my favourite from the season, Bernie, take home the at home prize…and by just 1lb, wow. Am also thrilled Ali won, I like her a lot and she deserved it, but also now that a woman has finally won maybe people will stop going on about it so much…it drives me crazy the amount of times we hear ‘A woman has never won before, I want to be the first female winner’ in both the USA and Australian versions.

How clean is your house?

Now you guys are probably going to think me a little strange here, but one thing that has always bothered me about Big Brother UK is the fact they don’t get basic amenities, such as a washing machine and vacuum cleaner – Ok I get why they didn’t get them originally, the show was meant to be back to basics, but times have changed over the years…the chickens are gone, the theme has changed…yet they still hold on to this nonsense idea that the housemates should only have one of those awful 1980s looking manual roller vacuums. Insanity. It bothers me because I know how important it is to have a really decent vacuum from a great company such as Dyson, that manual contraption surely can’t clean well…no matter how many times someone runs it backwards and forwards! As a bit of a neat freak, it concerns me how filthy that place must be by the end of the series each year, haha.

Just give them a Dyson Big Brother, this is 2008, not 1988.

Big Brother USA 9 – Videos updated

Tonight I took the time to go through all the recently added videos in the Big Brother 9 USA category and update them from the youtube videos, to the recently caught up dailymotion ones. The reasons are 2 fold, firstly I feel as though the dailymotion videos are likely to stay online longer – I am surprised infact that the youtube ones have not already been removed – in past seasons they would have been by now. And secondly, the dailymotion ones are much better quality :) Enjoy
