Big Brother 8 Aus – Daily Show # 10

Well over a week into the new series now and here’s the 10th daily show. The series is coming along very nicely, I feel like I know who most of them are by now and am starting to develop my likes and dislikes – though I have not been keen on the ’snap’ evictions, they have seemed pretty pointless…the first one to go, returned and the two webmates made absolutely zero impact on me so they won’t be missed. I do have to wonder though, did the Internet users who spent their time and effort voting these people in know that they might only be there for a matter of days?

Artificial plants and trees

I love to have flowers in my house and I try to have them as often as possible, this is something that I have discovered in recent times however…I suppose an appreciation for them was something that came with age for me, because a few years ago I had no interest in them whatsoever. However I have two problems with having real cur flowers around, firstly I am terrible at remembering to put more water in the vase/clear out the old stuff – and the smell after a while if you forget? Bleurgh! and secondly I suffer terribly with allergies, hayfever gets me really bad, especially in the summer – so a lot of the flowers have me sniffing and sneezing like a mad woman!

I wonder why I have never considered silk plants before? Fake flowers make perfect sense because they don’t need taking care of and since they don’t contain pollen they aren’t going to aggravate my allergies. The reason I like flowers has never been for the smell or feel of them or anything, it’s all just about the fact they look pretty and faux flowers look just as good as the real thing.

So boyfriend, mum, best friend…if you are reading this, it’s silk plants from now on please :)

Big Brother 8 Aus – Renamed episodes

To avoid confusion, I renamed the last 2 episodes of Big Brother Aus 8.

What was ‘Crowded House’ is now ‘Daily Show # 8 Crowded House’ and what was ‘Daily Show # 8′ is now ‘Daily Show # 9′. Seemed more appropriate than how I had ‘em. This also means that the next episode will be ‘Daily Show # 10′ – I have not skipped an episode, 2 episodes didn’t air in one day – I just did some renaming, sorry.
