Blaze Media Pro
Try out new video editing software is something I do quite often, as anything that can help make it easier for me to run this site is a good find for me. I have been using Blaze Media Pro for a while now.
Now, the thing that makes Blaze Media Pro so much more than just your average video editing software is that it serves several functions, it’s a whole media management program – you don’t need to have several separate programs on your computer because Blaze Media Pro has the lot in one package. When I first started out creating videos for this site, I needed a program to grab files from youtube, a video converter to make the youtube files into .AVI files and therefore more usable, a splitter to cut the videos up, something else to upload them and several others. Blaze Media Pro has all these things built in, as well as an AVI joiner, ripping, recording and playback software and a AVI converter and importantly, it’s been able to handle every file format I have thrown at it – including CD, MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, MPEG-4, AIFF, M4A, AAC, AC3, FLAC, ALAC, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, AVI, WMV, ASF, Flash (SWF and FLV), iPod, PSP, 3GP, and MOV.
You’d think a program that can do so much would be complicated to use, but it’s actually incredibly simple. According to various reviews I have read on tech blogs online, it rates very highly in this department and is suitable for users of all levels.
You can pick up a copy of Blaze Media Pro for $50.
