Any MMORPG fans in the house?

Are you a fan of MMORPGs? I’m not to be honest, but that’s mainly because growing up my brother loved them and I’d never admit to liking the same things as him — there was a lot of sibling rivalry there hah!

But now my niece is also big into them, so I can no longer just dismiss them as geeky, because I actually like my niece ;)

I came across a MMORPG by the guys at MEGA Brands a while ago called NEO Shifters that I have been testing out, to see if it is any good so that I can pass on the link. You can play the game for free online, you just need to register, decide which team you are going to bat for — the good guys or the bad guys — customise your character, give it a name and then away you go!

I made my character a nice green and pink colour combo, not great ‘bad guy’ colours, but ever so pretty looking! I have only played briefly so far as I have places to go and people to see, but so far so good, I will definitely come back to play more and tell the niece about it so that she can register and be ready to battle with me the next time I go on!

  1. I’ve not tried that game, however, I am a HUGE fan and long time player of Runescape. You can play for free at Runescape.com. You start in a world with low levels in combat as well as skills, such as woodcutting and firemaking, fishing and cooking, etc. You can play on a safe world, where the only things you need to battle are occasional monsters, or you can play on worlds where you battle other players too! It’s a fun game, I’m a skiller, not a combat person, cooking being my highest skill atm, at level 91! The goal is to reach level 99 and earn a skill cape to proudly show off your accomplishment! Any other Runescape players out there? Let me know and I’ll add you to my friends list! I’m Kelt Queen on the game. =)
