I liked wearing glasses!
I always used to wear glasses when I was younger, from the age of around 5 until I was around 18 when I was told I no longer needed them — I was gutted because I loved wearing glasses.
I had a huge range, from the ridiculously thick bottle glasses cruel parents used to make kids wear in the 1980s, to the bright neon pink ones as a young teenage girl, to the “Look at me aren’t I cool in my geeky black rim glasses” I used to wear when I was doing my A Levels.
I have some now as well actually, but they are just plain glass lenses — that’s how much I enjoy wearing them, I wear them even though I don’t need to!
I think I just like accessories. The more the better!
Not every one does like wearing them though, I know lots of people who prefer contact lenses for many reasons. They always seemed like an expensive hassle to me, but to each their own.
