What happens when you mix Tor and Firefox?

Torfox! That’s what.

Torfox is a new browser that is based on the technology behind the world’s favourite browser, Firefox and the super popular anonymity software Tor. It’s goal basically is to make anonymous surfing simple — there are many reasons people want to surf the web anonymously these days, one example being of course to avoid region blocked videos on video sharing sites like youtube and on official sites like CBS and BBC iPlayer — but finding proxies that work can be both annoying and dangerous for your computer. Torfox is as simple and effective as it gets, there are no complicated settings that you need to tweak before you can use it, in fact no configuration is needed at all. Just fire it up and away you go — it will route you through three different proxies and has many more such useful features that will help keep you hidden online!

Just like the softwares it is based on it is completely free to use, you can download it on the official website and be using it in just moments. You can also download it in .zip format and use it on an external drive without even needing to install. It is also open source just like Firefox.

If you use it, let me know what you think :)
