InTheRooms Facebook App

Itr_biggerI blogged about InTheRooms a few weeks ago when arguments in the Big Brother UK house were rife due to alcohol and housemates were stealing it from each other. They are an online addiction recovery site that aim to help people with every thing from alcohol to gambling addictions.

Well they have now brought out a facebook application that seems like a great idea. It’s a way for people to share their recovery time online as well as keep every one up to date with their progress.

The new InTheRooms Facebook App is of course free and super simple to use, just add it, fill in your information and you are ready to go. You can then either chose to display the information in a box on your profile if you want the world to know, or set it to anonymous so that no one other than those you want to know will ever know any thing about it. This is obviously a great and much needed feature that I am glad they thought of as people are going to be very different in that respect — some will want the world to know while other’s certainly won’t!
