I wanted to update you about this a lot sooner, but I have been scrambling to try and find a solution that will work for both myself and you since my account was removed.
Here’s the situation, as you probably know Channel 4 started region blocking the Big Brother videos last year, so that UK viewers were not able to view them but every one else around the world could. I assumed that would be the same this year, but unfortunately although they were region blocking most of the videos I uploaded they were also completely disabling some of them — they did it to three of my videos on my ‘bb10ukx’ account and that was that, the account was disabled.
I took a look at other known uploaders videos and noticed that theirs were all fine, not removed but region blocked. So I created a new account and tried again, this time not including my ‘RealityTVFan.org’ indent at the start of the videos or in the descriptions — same again, they region blocked most but did disable some.
So for whatever reason, they don’t want me uploading the show this year it seems and I won’t be able to personally upload it to youtube.
I then tried Dailymotion, I don’t like uploading shows to sites other than youtube as they simply don’t get enough attention — a tenth as much, if that, but figured I had no choice. To my surprise the videos never even made it to ‘live’ status before being rejected.
This is the point that I contacted another youtube user who uploads the show to check they’d be OK with me linking to their videos, they said sure — but I knew that I wouldn’t be able to embed them as embedding was disabled, right? I didn’t know that as although channel 4 region blocked my videos I was always able to embed them still.
So what is a girl to do? I can’t upload them myself and I can’t even easily embed another users uploads for you.
Channel 4 do not want the show shared with the world this year, it’s as simple as that.

The only solution I have is this, go subscribe to the wonderful DirtyMonkey151′s channel (tell them I sent ya!), they have been uploading the show for a few series now, their videos are great quality and get posted super fast. If you are outside the UK you’ll be able to watch the videos directly on the channel, if you are from the UK you’ll have to go via a proxy such as BeatFiltering.com.
I am sad that I won’t be posting the show this year, it’s become part of my Big Brother regime and I always enjoyed reading all the comments and getting into debates with you. But I have no choice.
