Watch the lovely Big Brother 8 twinnies, Sam and Amanda, in their first ever TV advert. Gosh knows what they are advertising, some kind of barbie web site it seems. But aren’t they just cute as a button? Yes, yes they are.
I actually think this is a bit of a non story, while it’s not at all cool to have someone throw a bottle on a stage while you are on it, it’s not as life threatening and dramatic as the tabloids would have you believe. But am posting for the simple fact this actually happened in my local night club (I wasn’t there that night) and this article is from my own local paper.
BIG Brother star Chanelle Hayes was attacked during an appearance at a Halifax nightclub.
The 19-year-old beauty was on stage at Jumpin’ Jaks, Commercial Street, when a beer bottle was thrown at her.Bodyguards rushed the star off the stage and bouncers threw out the attacker.
The venue was packed with 1,100 clubbers at the time of the incident. Chanelle was making a personal appearance on stage, talking to the crowd and signing autographs.
After the attack Chanelle carried on with her appearance, saying she did not want to disappoint fans.
She said: “I wasn’t going to let one jealous idiot
spoil the night for everyone. I’m just pleased the bottle didn’t hit me or, worse, take my eye out.”A police spokesman said they had not received any complaint about the incident.
In a statement today a spokesman for Jumpin’ Jaks said: “Our security responded immediately when a bottle was thrown on to the stage during Chanelle’s interview.
“Luckily the bottle did not land near our guest but we decided to invite her off the stage as a precaution while security removed the person in question.
“Chanelle was happy to continue to talk with our crowd and the rest of the evening passed without any problems.”
Chanelle, from Wakefield, appeared on Big Brother 8 this summer. She found fame for her obsession with Posh Spice, her desire to marry a footballer and her on-off romance with fellow housemate Ziggy Lichman, 26.
The couple were reported to have got engaged last week.

Chanelle Hayes is reportedly pregnant with the child of Ziggy Lichman.
According to the Daily Star, Hayes ordered staff at a hotel in Dubai to fetch her a pregnancy kit, which was delivered to her suite on a silver tray.
Hayes had previously been warned by doctors that she may not be able to have children due to unforeseen difficulties with an abortion she had after her 18th birthday.
Talking about the operation, she commented: “Basically the doctors told me I have what they call a ‘retained product’.
“It means the abortion wasn’t done properly and they left a bit of it in me, which has caused me a lot of pain.
“I am in a terrible lot of pain most of the time. The sad thing is that doctors told me I might never be able to have children, which was completely devastating.”
Big Brother’s most loathed desperado Charley Uchea didn’t count on this thumping reception when she went clubbing at the weekend.
The breast flashing, brainless bimbo was left “badly shaken†after getting caught in a violent catfight outside Embassy nightclub in Mayfair on Saturday night.
She was wrestled to the ground by a complete stranger after she challenged a group of smokers who were jeering at her after she left the club.
Hair was pulled, abuse was hurled in both directions and hair extensions were left strewn on the path in the aftermath of the fight on Old Burlington Street. It was the bitch fight to end all bitch fights. Just looks at Uchea on the floor getting OWNED!
“A group of cirls were making catty comments about her so she turned round to speak to them and it just kicked off,†said an onlooker.
“One of them jumped in and swung at her. Charley tried to stand up for herself by pushing the girl off but then some other girls got involved.
“She yelped with pain as they pulled at her hair and her friend tried to step in and help,†said one onlooker.
A spokesman for Charley said it was a completely unprovoked attack but that she would not be going to the police.
“She’s badly shaken but she’s not going to let it get to her,†he said. What a brave girl.

Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda have decided to spend the money they have earned since they left the show on flying to America so that they can meet their idol Paris Hilton.
The pink-loving sisters, who were runners-up in this year’s show have admitted that they would love to be like the hotel heiress.
Sam said of the socialite: “We just love everything about her. Her style, her music. She’s our favouritest.”
But Amanda revealed it would be the first time they will have ever stepped on a plane, saying: “We’ve never been abroad ever but we really want to go to America. It would be amazing.â€
