Getting to the business end of the show now, so far I am not very happy with the vote offs…feels like all the big characters are going leaving only the quieter ones, Janice & Biggins are the only remaining ones I find worth watching. I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here - John next to leave jungle.

John Burton-Race was the fourth contestant to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! last night.

The chef will be best remembered for eating a witchetty grub and crocodile penis in the Sushi Train of Pain trial, cooking for camp each night and regularly arguing with PR guru Lynne Franks.

“I would have liked to have stayed a bit longer, but it’s been the most memorable time in my life,” John told Ant & Dec after leaving the camp. “I loved the jungle and the fun of the Trials. I loved the flavour of the witchetty grub, but I’m not too hot on the crocodile’s c***.”

Asked about his clashes with Lynne, John explained: “I just found her completely objectionable. She was lazy, which annoyed me intensely, and I don’t believe in all this zone crap.”

However, he named J Brown as his “best buddy” from the jungle and also praised Janice Dickinson: “She’s a bonkers, mental, outspoken, loud, camera-hogging diva, but I like it a lot.”
