When shopping online I love nothing more than getting a bargain, who doesn’t, right? But I take it to a whole new level – often spending hours or even days using price comparison sites, searching for the best cashback offers and trying to find voucher codes and other discounts available.

If I managed to save even £1 on what I would have otherwise spent then I consider it a job well done.

I love shopping and I love bargains so bargain shopping is really the ideal activity for me.

I have had some killer deals over the years as well, I have managed to get free broadband, £300 worth of gifts from Marks and Spencer for nothing, a free diamond necklace and so much more.

I even run another website related to bargains, offering advice and links to others who love bargain hunting so that they can get the best deals also. It’s actually a lot of fun

Rock it like Adam Lambart

Do you know how often people send me messages asking me questions I don’t know the answer to? I have a poor memory at the best of times, but when I get emails asking me in what episode of a show that aired 4 years ago it was when Bob fell into the pool, I wonder why on earth people assume I would just automatically know that?

So imagine my surprise last week when after the American Idol finale someone asked me if I knew where Adam Lambart’s jewelry was from, and I actually did know the answer! I think that’s the first random question I have ever known the answer to, and I joyfully responded with the information I knew — I knew it because I had seen someone else ask the question on Yahoo Answers rather than because I am some super duper all knowing reality tv queen, but that’s not important

World’s Most Amazing Videos

The other half and I had a lazy day yesterday, a really lazy day…we went to the supermarket briefly to pick up some supplies and spent the rest of the day in front of the television either playing Wii or watching TV!

Of course there’s not that much actually on the telly most days so we did end up watching some really, really, really strange and poor shows.

We discovered a rare gem in the wee small hours though, a show called ‘The Worlds Most Amazing Videos’, it kinda does what it says on the tin — videos of all kinds of interesting, scary or weird things from around the world. It’s an American show but has been narrated by someone from the UK, so it’s unintentionally hilarious at times and it kept amazing me just how differently the police in the USA act to how they would in the UK.

The show featured a whole lot of crashing, motorbikes, cars, even lawnmowers haha. The one thing we both found ourselves saying several times was;

“It’s a good job they were wearing a helmet and Leather Vests!”

There was one clip where someone was jumping on a snowmobile and they landed on their head, literally snapping themselves in half and breaking their back — ouch, but if they hadn’t been wearing their Motorcycle Helmets it would have been a whole lot worse.
