Going to any Christmas Parties?
I love Christmas as much as the next person, more probably. I am a certified member of the Christmas fan club — but isn’t it ridiculous how early it seems to start these days? It’s the middle of November and I am already starting to worry that I don’t know what I am buying any one and I feel I am running out of time.
Curse you early Christmas advertising, you’ve done this to me!!
Having said that, I have been helping my best friend to plan her Christmas shindig since September, heh. It’s probably one of the first Christmas Parties I have been to since I left school, so I am quite excited. I’ve been scouring the Internet for party ideas and was happy to come across the Christmas section at Celebrations.com — they offer recipes for food and drink, tips, crafts, activities and they even have some handy check lists and also a section dedicated to telling of the history and traditions of the season. I enjoyed the section on Christmas traditions from around the world, did you know that in France they have the big ‘Christmas Dinner’ on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day?
