The Amazing Race Asia 3 – No More Episodes

Bad news for all you The Amazing Race Asia fans — I won’t be able to bring you the rest of the season. I think we all saw it coming with all the youtube accounts posting the show getting removed last week — but I too have now also received a DMCA Notice of Infringement from Sony Pictures Television Inc and have had to take the episodes down.

I really wish that more TV companies would get on board with allowing their shows to be posted online, it does them no harm having a world wide audience :(

I hate to leave you with an incomplete series, but it’s not my decision. Sorry guys.

Project Runway USA 5 – Videos Removed Today

Ah boo, today all of my Project Runway 5 USA videos were removed from Youtube after a copyright claim from NBC/Bravo — Hate it when this happens, but what can you do? At least I was able to post the season in full before they took it down :)

So, to answer the inevitable questions I will get now — No, I won’t be uploading it again or on a different video upload site. As I always say it’s not my goal with this site to upload shows that aren’t going to stay online. It’s NBCs show, if they don’t want it online for the whole world to be able to enjoy I have to respect that. It also means I won’t be personally uploading any future seasons, though will certainly still link to others uploads here if I can find them.

Big Brother 9 UK – Dennis Removed from House

Dennis has been removed from the Big Brother house today, following an incident last night which involved him spitting in fellow housemate Mohameds face.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “Spitting in someone’s face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset. Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour. Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner.”

Tonights eviction will go ahead as planned.

Two housemates removed in one week due to unnaceptable behaviour, it’s not looking good for Big Brothers selection process is it? I just hope that the international fans among you realise, we’re not all like that! :)

Big Brother 9 UK – Alex’s departure ratings sucess for CH4+1

Channel 4+1 helped boost Big Brother’s ratings last night in the wake of contestant Alexandra’s eviction from the house.

The catch-up show gave Channel 4+1 its largest ever audience with 703,000 (4.4%) tuning in between 10pm and 11pm. Alex was removed from the house on Wednesday but the drama did not reach Channel 4 until last night.

Big Brother drew 3.5m (15.2%) on Channel 4 from 9pm – also a strong audience, but limited by competition from ITV1’s Euro 2008 football. The reality installments combined audience, of 4.2m, was the largest of the series since the launch show two weeks ago.

Big Brother 9 UK – What got Alex removed?

Apparently this conversation was the straw that finally broke the camels back for Alexandra De-Gale and caused her to be removed from the house earlier this evening.

Big Brother contestant Alexandra De-Gale was tonight thrown off the show for intimidating other housemates.

As a result, the first eviction of the ninth series – due to take place on Friday – has been cancelled.

Channel 4 said that during her nomination for this week’s eviction, De-Gale allegedly threatened her fellow housemates with punishment from “gangster friends”.

Alexandra allegedly made the comment about gangsters while speaking to albino contestant Darnell last night, while a number of other housemates were in proximity.

According to Channel 4’s transcript, while discussing the fact that she had been nominated, Alexandra told Darnell: “I’m not throwing water at anyone. It’s bigger than that … personal offence is never forgotten. Do you know what I mean?

“We are just inside the house. I’ve got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house”.

She added: “I just can’t wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got … I’m not talking about those mans, I’m talking about my gangster friends. They got some instructions to follow out.”

She added later: “I get to go out, see everyone’s friends, I get to see their family. I get to do the shit that I wanna do. Pow, pow, pow.”

Angela Jain, Head of E4 and Big Brother at Channel 4, said: “Alex’s comments will be widely interpreted as having been intended to intimidate. Other housemates have said they found her comments to be threatening and we believe that is the reasonable conclusion for them to have reached given the way Alex has behaved previously.

“Big Brother has very clear rules about housemates’ conduct and that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

“She has already been spoken to twice about her behaviour, and, like all housemates, was clearly informed before entering the house that she faced eviction if she acted in an unacceptable manner.”
