Site News – Happy Birthday RealityTVFan.org

Just wanted to do a quick blog post to say – RealityTVFan.org turns 3 years old in a few days time. I have had a great time running this site in the last 3 years and hope to continue in the same way for the next 3 years (and beyond) and I would just like to thank everyone who uses the site, enjoys the videos and clicks on the sponsored links for me

In related news it’s actually also my birthday today, I turn the big 30 *gulp*
Thankfully for me there are no new shows between now and Sunday night, so I can enjoy the day and all the food, drink and festivities that come with it!

I am also being taken away for a few nights on Tuesday – Wednesday next week, so there will unfortunately be no shows added on those days and things may be a little slow for the few days afterwards as I get caught up.

Site News: A Few Updates

Good day all.

Just a few minor notes to share with you.

* The Biggest Loser USA is off air for a few weeks because of the Olympics, that’s why no episode was posted last week and won’t be next week either. It returns on March 3rd.
A great resource for keeping up to date with shows is Next-episode.net, I have been using them for years – they list most of the shows from around the world and you simply add the ones you watch to your watchlist – it’ll let you know what shows are on today, tomorrow and even yesterday and if you want to know when a show returns from a break or for a new season you can check that there also

* Launch My Line – I am still looking out for that elusive episode # 8 but I think it’s pretty safe to say it’s not going to emerge

* Shear Genius – As with most Bravo shows these episodes prove very hard to first find, and then keep online! I am always looking for the most recent episodes and as soon as they appear I add them to the site – but I don’t have any control over when I can get them so please be patient!

* Top Chef – I am going to make a start of season 3 in a few days time, starting off with a special episodes where chefs from seasons 1 and 2 compete against each other!

Site News – Computer Issues Revisited

Good news all, my computer is going to be fine!

My expert was able to restore it to how it was before it died, meaning that all my files are perfectly fine and my hard drive is undamaged. The virus is still on my computer however, so I am currently backing some stuff up and then will be reformatting to make absolutely certain it has gone this time – as mentioned I cleaned it last time but it still managed to come back so I’d rather not take the risk again.

Will probably take all day to reformat and then start reinstalling all the programs I need etc (and I am afraid I have better things to do tonight, already have tickets booked for Avatar 3d – I do need to have a life away from this site sometimes ) but normal service on the site should resume tomorrow.

Site News: Computer Issues

Good day all. Bad news, my computer is dead as a doornail.

Yesterday I had a virus on my computer (Antivirus 2010) which I thought I had successfully removed but when I came to turn my computer on today it wouldn’t boot up. Unfortunately I don’t have vista discs at my house so can’t use them to try and restore, every thing else I have tried like downloading Vista recovery discs and installing XP instead has failed.

So I am afraid I am stuck with a dead computer and only occasional access to my mums ancient old laptop until probably Tuesday or Wednesday when I can get an expert to sort it out for me.

What does this mean for you? Well, I simply won’t be able to upload any shows until it’s fixed because this laptop doesn’t have and wouldn’t be able to run all the programs and software I use in order to do what I do. Of course I am not just going to leave you hanging and will be posting as many shows as I can from uploads I find elsewhere online – I just won’t be able to upload anything myself so there won’t be any Dailymotion uploads and it may take me a day or two to find episodes.

Wave your hands in the air if you hate bloody viruses!
