Site News: Sponsored Tweets

Hey all, any one following RealityTVFan on Twitter might have noticed a bunch of sponsered tweets in the last few days.

I just wanted to let you know that they appeared by ‘accident’, sort of – as I am away this week I have not been monitoring Twitter at all and the place I get the ads from automatically approves the ads if I don’t accept/decline them within a certain amount of time. I didn’t think this would be an issue as I have only had a handful of offers from them in total over the last three months – but typical luck I then went and got several all at once.

I will still be posting the ads some times, but will make sure to monitor them more closely and not spam you all to death with them from now on :)

Big Brother 10 UK – House Pictures Leaked

The first pictures from inside the Big Brother 10 UK house have been leaked tonight, and unlike most leaked content these days it seems that these really were accidentally leaked — no official shots of the interior of the house have been released by Channel 4 yet, but a contestant from T4 show Shipwrecked posted some pictures he had on his Twitter account.

The pictures have now been removed and the poor boy is probably biting his nails having realised he made a boo boo.

However I managed to restore them from my cache folder and can now share them with you. Obviously they were taken before the house was complete, as the lack of furniture suggests, and official house pictures will most likely follow very soon. Enjoy, and thank you Andrew Dearling!

MacBook Air up for grabs on Twitter

Isn’t it crazy just how much Twitter has taken off in recent months? It’s gone from nothing to one of the most used sites on the entire Internet in such a short space of time, every one is getting in on the action — from nobodies like me who use it to advertise their site and post updates to followers, to celebrities like Russel Brand and Stephen Fry, to big companies and corporations like GoDaddy and even Google themselves now partake in a little tweeting!

Currently you can Win A MacBook Air on Twitter from a guy called Ben Behrouzi who describes himself as a serial entrepreneur — and what do you have to do to be in with a chance to win? Send him 1000s of hits? buy a ticket? — nope, you just have to send him a tweet from your twitter account to let him know you want in, that’s it!

I have already won a few minor prizes via Twitter from other companies running contests, but a MacBook Air is something else. It would definitely be a good one to win, I am going to go give my entry as soon as I am done sharing this with you — I am sure he will get a lot of entries so my chances are slim, but you have to be in it to win it ;)
